fastx_get_sample_names command

Reports the sample identifiers found in seqence labels. The -output option specifies a text file to contain one line per identifier. This is useful as a check that your sample identifiers are formatted correctly.

Example

usearch -fastx_get_sample_names reads.fa -output samples.txt
